Associate-Intermediate/Vice President with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in New York, NY.

 

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Duties: Associate-Intermediate/Vice President with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in New York, NY. Participate in development of software for data modelling, analysis and real-time data processing for the Equities Data Platform. Work closely with internal end-users to define data modeling requirements and data delivery Service Level Agreements (SLAs); implement real-time and historical data analysis/reporting software to satisfy these requirements and SLAs. Work closely with front-office Strategies team in order to review order management changes in accordance with new business initiatives; design and implement data transformation software to accommodate these changes. Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle (SDLC) including design, development, requirements gathering and testing. 

 

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or equivalent) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field. Six (6) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Must have six (6) years of experience with: U.S. Cash Equity trading practices & order management, including Financial Information eXchange (FIX) protocol; Java and C++ Programming; development of multi-threaded systems using standard Java and POSIX APIs; Sybase IQ and SQL; Apache Hadoop; and TIBCO Rendezvous. Must have three (3) years of experience with Apache Spark and Apache Kafka.
