Digital Finance, a subdivision of CCBD, is composed of the firm’s digitally-led consumer businesses which include the global online consumer deposits business and the US online consumer lending business, the firm’s first-ever direct-to-consumer platform built from the ground up. Digital Finance combines the strength and heritage of a 147-year-old financial institution with the agility and entrepreneurial spirit of a tech start-up. This unique dynamic allows us to help our customers achieve financial progress through customizable solutions that are grounded in value, transparency and simplicity.


This new member of the Marcus Loans Acquisition team will play an instrumental role in diversifying our sources of distribution by identifying, qualifying and contracting with new referral sources. Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain go-to-market plans to assess potential new channels of distribution in key segments
  • Qualify new opportunities and prioritize for best return to the business
  • Negotiate contracts and supporting documents
  • Liaise across teams to source key contacts and undertake introductory meetings
  • Author and lead sales pitches introducing Marcus by Goldman Sachs
  • Maintain a strong and growing pipeline of new opportunities
  • Lead the development of new capabilities, as needed, to respond to market demands
  • Support existing relationships on an as-needed basis

Characteristics of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel and other tools to support quantitative analysis & written presentations
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience in business-to-business or institutional sales
  • Experience managing pipeline utilizing CRM software (preferred)
  • Experience negotiating legal agreements (preferred)
