The Goldman Sachs University team in HCM oversees learning and development initiatives and programming for the firm. We educate our people on our culture, orient new hires, help people design their career paths, provide opportunities for technical skill development, build awareness of diversity, and develop new and experienced managers and leaders. 

 

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

  • Partner with the global Goldman Sachs University team to deliver classroom, blended and online learning for the firm
  • Support development of digital learning distribution strategy, with a focus on eDelivery Channels (e.g., podcasts, orbit drive, customized apps)
  • Build toolkits, guidelines, and best practices on new digital learning products
  • Define, monitor, and analyze key performance metrics, monitoring success of initiatives, optimizing the approach, and reporting to key stakeholders
  • Partner closely with HCM colleagues (Business Partners, Talent Acquisiton, Talent Assessment, Talent Development) to define and prioritize evolving development needs
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gain buy-in and sponsorship for initiatives 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 1-3 years of experience working in learning and development or project management
  • Excellent project management and execution skills, strong detail orientation, and strong analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, and comfortable presenting to audiences

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Problem solver with ability to transform abstract ideas into tangible products and actions
  • Highly organized, attention to detail, and excellent follow-through
  • Demonstrated client service focus and ability to build relationships across different levels, functions, and regions
  • Results-oriented -- ability to balance multiple, time-sensitive projects while maintaining a longer term, strategic focus
  • Knowledge of financial services industry
