    The Goldman Sachs University team in HCM oversees learning and development initiatives and programming for the firm. We educate our people on our culture, develop new and experienced managers and leaders, build the skills for creating and inclusive environment, orient new hires, help people design their career paths, and provide opportunities for technical skill development. 

     

    HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

    As a member of the GSU Firmwide Learning Team you will…

    • Partner closely with global colleagues to design and deliver development initiatives at Goldman Sachs
    • Serve as a subject matter expert and advisor, delivering firmwide learning solutions with a focus on topics including but not limited to:
      • Creating effective managers
      • Developing the leadership pipeline
      • Promoting inclusion
    • Lead project teams to drive the design and implementation of initiatives
    • Partner closely with HCM colleagues (Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Talent Assessment, Talent Development) to define and prioritize evolving development needs across businesses and regions
    • Work closely with business stakeholders to gain buy in and sponsorship for initiatives
    • Drive the use of blended and digital learning solutions in professional development initiatives
    • Define and analyse key performance metrics, in order to monitor success of initiatives, optimize the approach and report to key stakeholders

    SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor degree required
    • 8+ years experience in design and delivery of learning and leadership development programs
    • Experience in leading and managing teams and guiding junior professionals in instructional design and facilitation best practices
    • Conceptual thinker and problem solver with ability to transform abstract ideas into tangible learning solutions
    • Subject matter expertise in a range of professional development and leadership topics
    • Established track record of innovative program design
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Comfort presenting / facilitation to audiences at all levels, senior and junior
    • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, influence, advise and appropriately challenge clients on learning and development approaches
    • Excellent project management and execution skills; strong detail orientation; strong analytical skills
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a time-sensitive environment and prioritize appropriately

     PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Masters degree in I/O Pyschology or relevant field (adult learning, leadership, diversity and inclusion)
    • In depth expertise in a relevant discipline i.e., leadership, diversity and inclusion
    • Experience driving digital learning solutions, strategy and content curation
    • Experience leading and managing teams across locations
