    Associate-Intermediate/VP with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, NY.

     

    Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

    Duties:  Associate-Intermediate/VP with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, NY. Design and oversee management of the Portfolio Implementation and Trading functions for the Digital Advisory Solutions team in the Investment Management Division. Develop and create innovative algorithms and solutions to create an automated portfolio construction, order generation and trading engine. Develop an in-depth knowledge of associated objectives and restrictions/constraints within the portfolio models and advise on the portfolio construction and implementation process. Create order paradigms in accordance with model objectives and perform checks to assure compliance. Develop a drift-based process to monitor cash levels and deviations from optimal portfolio to trigger an automated rebalance. Serve as Portfolio Manager, including owning the rebalance/order cycle and monitoring executions of orders via third party brokers and platforms.

     

    Job Requirements: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering or a related quantitative field. Three (3) years of experience with Master’s degree or five (5) years of experience with Bachelor’s degree in the job offered or related investment or portfolio management position. Prior work experience must include three (3) years of experience with Master’s degree or five (5) years of experience with Bachelor’s: Portfolio management experience; Understanding portfolio theory, including implementing and constructing portfolios; Utilizing and understanding complex financial engineering concepts including portfolio optimization techniques and statistical analysis; Articulating complex financial and mathematical concepts to clients and stakeholders; Experience with asset management compliance and client-specific investment guidelines.
