    Associate-Intermediate/VP with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, NY.


    Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)


    Duties: Associate-Intermediate/VP with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, NY. Responsible for the product design and implementation of the Goldman Sachs Research distribution platform, including digital renditions of research reports, the GS Research web portal and the internal tools used to curate and showcase content. Duties include: utilizing skills in UX/UI to create customer-facing applications that demonstrate understanding of the workflows of the financial research analysts, strategists and economists producing the content and curating the content, as well as the investors and other clients navigating and consuming research; communicating with stakeholders and users to gather requirements and formulate ideas to present viable solutions via user interfaces or data modeling implementations; coordinating with technology teams to communicate requirements and document specifications by generating wireframes and visual mock-ups, talking through the design and data modeling, and user acceptance testing once product is in early stages of development; creating and updating tools for authoring content, site curation and analysis of site metrics; organizing project work and prioritizing roadmap items of upcoming features; transferring features of the old proprietary publishing system and site to the new, digital format; ensuring new digital products are scalable and responsive to a variety of devices and browsers; training team and department members on publishing and curation processes and workflows; and ensuring the Firm’s digital brand is consistent by working with the graphics team, and ensuring that the Firm’s products are competitive in the market by staying up-to-date on the latest digital marketing features.


    Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in an analytical field such as Multimedia Technology, Graphic Design, Digital Marketing, Digital Media or a related field. Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related role in financial software product design and financial content publishing. Prior work experience must include five (5) years: developing UX/UI wireframes specific to financial applications or tools, using graphical programs such as Adobe Creative Suite, Powerpoint and Balsamiq or equivalent wireframing tools; managing the development of products for financial research publishing and distribution; designing and developing applications including content management systems, web site design, and authoring tools for content in formats including PDF/print, html and email; financial industry experience, including demonstrated familiarity with financial data processing, economic or company models, and publishing including regulatory review workflows; using Quark and Indesign in conjunction with graphical design using Illustrator and Photoshop to enhance published content and specifications; using JIRA project management tool to manage projects between technology and product managers; web site editing and ongoing curation involving HTML and Javascript editing; creating or enhancing financial charts using data from external data sources such as Bloomberg, Markit, Haver Analytics or FactSet; experience with data visualization and infographics to transform standard financial exhibits into visually appealing graphical charts; using statistical tools for tracking metrics and usage of websites and distribution channels, including page views, clicks and email open rates; and training colleagues on authoring tools, site page management, charting and presentations.
