    Associate with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Salt Lake City, UT.

     

    Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

    Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Salt Lake City, UT. Consolidate and prepare large number of standard and custom client reports utilizing knowledge of financial markets, regulations and statistical calculation methodologies and terminologies, such as 1940 Act regulatory reporting, portfolio risk attributes, performance and valuation, etc. and understanding the divisional clients in US Corporate, Sub-Advised, Publics, and Financial Institution industry. Identify and resolve issues related to reporting by working with Portfolio Management, Technology, Client Relationship Managers, and Operations teams, as well as respond to client queries and act as a central point of contact to ensure client requests are addressed and provide issue resolution. Perform oversight function by monitoring and assigning daily tasks to the team, review and sign off on custom reporting prepared by the team prior to client delivery. Participate in client implementation discussions with key stakeholders to identify and review client’s reporting requirements. Facilitate the design of custom reporting that meet clients regulatory, risk, performance, and analytic needs and schedule reporting commitments to ensure timely delivery of reports to clients. Understand and identify potential risks in the reporting process and implement adequate controls to mitigate risk through business process designs while maintaining a high level of efficiency. Execute, drive and deliver projects and efficiency initiatives spanning multiple stakeholders across business areas. Use MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint to create custom and complex reporting templates. Apply business process reengineering and automation methodologies, and use advanced business intelligence tools such as QlikView and Visual BASIC to execute tactical and strategic solutions for highly custom and complex client reporting.

     

    Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, Compliance or a related field. Two and one-half (2.5) years of experience in the job offered or related client reporting position in the financial services industry. Must have two and one-half (2.5) years of prior work experience with: demonstrating knowledge of financial services and financial products in order to produce consistent and accurate custom client reports; using Microsoft office programs such as in MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint in order to create complex customized reporting templates that translate raw system data into final client report; reengineering and automating client reporting processes using Business Intelligence tools and macro tools, such as Qlikview and Visual BASIC; balancing a wide variety of tasks, prioritizing them appropriately, and escalating as needed to wider audiences to ensure correct action; identifying risks inherent in daily financial services business process and drive initiative to mitigate risk; proactively escalating and managing client reporting data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and meeting reporting deadlines; serving as central point of contact for issue resolution and meeting client’s reporting demands in a timely fashion; managing projects to drive strategic business initiatives and evaluate processes to enhance and improve client reporting operational flow; and communicating with internal business groups and senior stakeholders to execute team strategy, and cascading critical messaging of key initiatives to team and technology partners.
