    Associate with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Dallas, TX


    Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)


    Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Dallas, TX. Function as a franchise manager for the Equities Strategist organization, as part of our Securities Division Management and Strategy team. This team is responsible for driving initiatives across all asset classes globally. Responsibilities include: applying automation, optimization and numerical techniques, such as statistical and regression analysis and Multivariate regression to improve efficiency and effectiveness of processes; building useable tools and platforms to aid data consumption and sustainability; working with senior Business Leaders to understand their franchises and existing regulatory workflow, as well as recommend and implement new workflows as needed (i.e. drafting specifications, evaluating different proposals, documenting use-case scenarios, conducting user acceptance testing); advising on regulatory requirements, methodology and internal implementation; working across diverse groups of cross functional stakeholders, including senior quantitative strategist leadership to design and develop recommendations to identify opportunities, enhance efficiency, improve accuracy and establish appropriate process controls across all asset classes using large datasets; communicating with on-site and virtual teams and interact efficiently across multiple platforms; and working remotely one-day per month.


    Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics. Four (4) years of experience in the job offered or a related functional management & strategy role at a global investment bank. Must have four (4) years of experience: demonstrating attention to detail and identifying ways to make processes more efficient and effective using optimization and automation techniques; performing complex workflow and financial analytics; interacting with and making presentations to global stakeholders and senior management; Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint; solving problems and adapting to a dynamic and changing organization and regulatory environment; managing multiple, time-sensitive projects; end-to-end change management implementation processes and coordination; performing gap analyses and identifying remediation recommendations resulting from regulatory changes or input; and collaborating with IT to design systems and managing various components of implementing a new system or workflow (i.e. drafting specifications, evaluating different proposals, documenting use-case scenarios, conducting user acceptance testing). Must have two (2) years of experience: managing processes and process improvements.
