    RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

    Role

    Goldman Sachs is seeking an analyst to join the Client Reporting and Analysis team. The Client Reporting and Analysis team is responsible for client reporting, collateral analysis and management within the Structured Finance & Lending (SFL) desk within the Securities Division

    Responsibilities

    1. Manage structured lending collateral files that are central for internal risk management and client funding requirements
    2. Direct projects focused on development and continued improvement of the accuracy and robustness of internal exposure reporting systems and processes
    3. Deconstruct complex structured lending credit agreements to build and maintain collateral borrowing base risk and funding systems
    4. Aggregate metrics that monitor underlying collateral performance and report in dashboard format to management
    5. Liaise with SFL desk to source and manage collateral by maintaining loan level details in borrowing base system
    6. Determine collateral eligibility for advances and ensure structuring lending facility compliance with each proposed collateral add
    7. Liaise with clients and syndication partners on borrowing base system output and trade specific issues (discrepancies, collateral addition issues, etc.)
    8. Aggregate metrics that monitor underlying collateral performance and report in dashboard format to management
    9. Involvement in project initiatives relating to the SFL business
    10. Fulfill ad hoc data requests

     

    Qualifications

    1. Bachelor of Science degree in accounting/operations
    2. Superior Excel skills
    3. Strong communication skills (clear, concise, and confident)
    4. Solid analytical/logical mindset and attention to detail
    5. Candidate must be comfortable in a high pressure environment
    6. Risk awareness and high attention to detail
    7. Strong customer service skills; ability to deal with internal and external customers.

     

    Preferred Qualifications

    1. Prior knowledge of Loans and Bonds is helpful
    2. Experience with our internal risk and booking entry systems
