    The GSAM Private Real Estate Group (“GSAM PRE”) is seeking to add an analyst to its Asset Management team in Dallas as an Asset Management Coordinator. GSAM PRE focuses on core, core-plus, and value-add real estate investment opportunities in the United States across office, industrial, multifamily, and retail property types and invests primarily through commingled funds. Today, GSAM PRE manages $3.4bn in gross asset value, with 40 dedicated professionals spread across three offices in New York, Los Angeles, and Dallas.  The team evaluates & manages commercial real estate investment opportunities across a range of geographies and risk profiles.

    The Asset Management Coordinator will join a growing team and gain broad exposure to all aspects of real estate asset management. This role will be an integral part of the broader GSAM PRE team and will be relied upon to support many day-to-day business needs.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Support critical lease executions
      • Asset Management Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the negotiation and approval of lease transactions to commercial tenants in a streamlined and efficient way.
    • Coordinate data deliverables to and from Asset Managers
      • Asset Management Coordinator will assist in ensuring the timely and accurate submission of financial and operating data from Property Managers to Asset Managers and assist in governance around the data by tracking and delivering feedback to Property Managers, Asset Managers, and Accounting.
    • Oversee, coordinate, and direct property tax & other expense payments
    • Support Asset Manager travel and meeting coordination; Report and coordinate schedules
    • Vendor management delegation
    • Ad hoc platform level reporting

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Experience managing calendars, booking travel, and processing legal documents
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
    • High proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
    • Ability to work well in a fast paced team environment
    • Project management abilities and time management skills are a must
    • Highly organized; attention to detail and excellent follow-through
    • Positive attitude and very strong work ethic
    • Willingness to travel on an as needed basis
    • Passion for real estate
