    Job Summary & Responsibilities

    The Legal Department plays an essential role in the formulation and implementation of the strategy of Goldman Sachs. The advice and counsel we provide to all areas of the firm is critical to maintaining our commitments to our clients, regulators, and shareholders and to promoting our culture of excellence and integrity.

     

    We are currently looking for recent or soon-to-be college graduates for our Dallas, Texas office with a keen interest in legal and financial markets.

     

    The documentation unit supports Fixed Income, Currency and Commodity and Equity trading desks. The documentation unit is part of a larger derivative group located in Legal Department. Team members negotiate ISDA schedules, credit support annexes, contracts for differences annexes, guaranties and ancillary documents. As a member of the documentation unit, person will work closely with business professionals across the firm, as well as with outside counsel and external clients.

    We are currently looking for individuals with three to five years of experience in a Legal, Compliance or Operations capacity.

     

    The Securities Division Trading Documentation Group supports the Fixed Income, Currency and Commodity and Equity trading desks; within the Securities Division. Person will report to team leader of documentation group and be responsible for negotiating ISDA schedules, credit support annexes, guaranties and ancillary documents.

     

    Preferred Qualifications

    • ISDA and documentation experience required
    • Experience negotiating triparty collateral control agreements
    • Must have excellent verbal and written skills
    • Must be able to liaise and coordinate within several areas of the firm
    • Must be mature and professional
    • Must be proactive and have the ability to work independently and to perform consistently in a high volume faced paced environment.
