    Are you looking to apply your critical thinking skills while deepening your understanding of corporate loans? The New Issue Origination team is looking to add a position to coordinate closely with various divisional business desks, Middle Office, Legal, Compliance and Operations, both pre and post-closing to ensure smooth deal execution and portfolio management.

     

    OUR IMPACT

    The New Issue Origination team is responsible for ensuring efficient and accurate new deal onboarding across a broad range of loans and desks. Generally, the products supported are complex instruments that require close alignment and coordination with the business. The New Issue Origination team manages the initial product set up, proceeds movement and trade settlement processes.  In addition to being a direct touch-point with the desk, this role ensures accurate and timely product onboarding laying the groundwork for accurate servicing.

     

    HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

    • Work with our business partners to execute on the new loan issuance and provide expertise to ensure logistics are feasible (KYC, funds flows, wire instructions, etc.)
    • Review Credit Agreements/Amendment documentation to understand scope of each loan closing
    • Perform cash management functions (remitting wires, accepting receipts, and journaling cash internally)
    • Perform loan servicing events needed as part of closing (drawdowns, paydowns, rollovers, etc)
    • Reconcile of fees and expenses with internal Finance team, Expense team and external parties involved in the transaction.
    • Generate and review exception reporting and take action if needed
