    The Consumer and Investment Management Division includes Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM), Private Wealth Management (PWM) and our Consumer business (Marcus by Goldman Sachs).     Liquidity

    Liquidity Solutions (LS) within Global Fixed Income & Currency (GFI) is seeking an analyst or associate to join the portfolio management team. The individual will become an integral part of the trading desk, interacting closely with the portfolio managers, salespeople, trading counterparties, operations, controllers and technology. The Liquidity Solutions team is split between London and New York.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

    HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

    Principal Responsibilities:

     

    • Support Portfolio Managers with daily responsibilities including trade execution, trade entry, trade settlement, fund accounting and reconciliation, yield confirmation.
    • Working with many groups including operations, IT, shareholder services and external custodians for both day-to-day issues as well as longer term projects.
    • Coordinate and evaluate proper business controls and focus on the implementation of them
    • Repo and time deposit trading

    SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

    Basic Qualifications:

     

    • Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
    • Basic knowledge of financial markets for example repo’s, overnight markets, yield curves
    • Eagerness to learn about short-term debt markets, trading strategies and portfolio management
    • Strong ability to build and maintain professional relationships
    • Strong writing skills
    • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
    • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, transaction-oriented environment
    • Creative and strategic thinker
    • Mathematical background preferred
