    Position Summary:

     

    The ideal candidate will be prepared to join an innovative and growing team in the energy industry.  This person will have dual product and brand marketing roles – partnering with the Product team to identify key target micro-segments who will benefit, and translating this complex product and value proposition into simple compelling language.  This person will also be responsible for ensuring all communications are consistent with our brand look and feel, comply with state and federal regulations, and are compelling and tailored to the intended audience.  While this candidate will primarily focus on marketing and communication, they will be prepared to pitch in whenever and wherever to make the team successful.

     

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

     

    Responsibilities:

     

    • Product Marketing
      • Understand the key differentiators of the company’s suite of products
      • Identify rich micro-segments and determine how we should engage
      • Lead development and execution of go-to-marketing plan, incl. support materials
      • Identify new opportunities to acquire and retain customers
      • Work closely with other members of the team to ensure unified approach
    • Communication
      • Assist in the development of brand and communication strategy and execution
      • Develop the strategy for community building and engagement around the brand
      • Develop a communications plan, budget, and KPIs that align with overall strategy
      • Collaborate with stakeholders (internal and external) to understand design and communication requirements and needs
      • Lead the development and maintenance of firm-related social media communities, i.e., Facebook, Twitter
      • Identify and actively manage industry-related resources, websites, reviews sites to extract useful feedback for the business and to enhance the brand’s standing
      • Provide day-to-day leadership to design, public relations, and other agencies
    • Capability
      • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance brand and product, plus supporting activities

    Qualifications:

     

    • Willingness to learn, be a self-starter, with a “get-it-done” attitude
    • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, marketing, or communications-related field
    • Product marketing experience for a commodity, technology, or new innovative product
    • Public relations, corporate communication, or brand marketing experience
    • Graphic design and or copywriting experience, a plus
    • Experience leading teams and developing junior staff
