    CONSUMER AND INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT DIVISION (CIMD)

    The Consumer and Investment Management Division includes Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM), Private Wealth Management (PWM) and our Consumer business (Marcus by Goldman Sachs). We provide asset management, wealth management and banking expertise to consumers and institutions around the world. CIMD partners with various teams across the firm to help individuals and institutions navigate changing markets and take control of their financial lives.

    Consumer, externally known as Marcus by Goldman Sachs, is comprised of the firm’s digitally-led consumer businesses, which include our deposits and lending businesses, as well as our personal financial management app, Clarity Money.     RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

    Job Summary & Responsibilities:

     

    • Iterate on and scale our strategic planning process, connect the strategy to the teams we have in place and oversee alignment framework, execution and transparency
    • Create and maintain program-wide dashboard that connects strategy to prioritized projects, defining what they are, their goals and the progress against them
    • Develop, track and iterate on KPIs that demonstrate the program’s effectiveness, both within and unique from the context of broader program offerings
    • Align cross-functional stakeholder teams and drive the success of complex program launches
    • Engage with multiple workstreams across product, business, operations and technology teams to ensure program vision and priorities are maintained throughout development planning and execution
    • Build on current Strategic Initiatives & Execution team charter, by accelerating execution, connectivity and impact of initiatives
    • Work collaboratively with other team members both within and outside the Strategic Initiatives & Execution to connect dots and integrate initiatives as needed
    • Provide strategic thought leadership to translate priorities into actionable game plans and ensure the right resources are in place, considering both capability and capacity; drive execution, ensure the right KPIs are in the place to support the measurement of impact
    • Inculcate a “Heavy/Light/Heavy” project management approach that will build capability and accelerate agility
    • Function as a knowledge base and advisor to initiative teams
    • Build and exhibit organizational capability in horizontal adaptation, change and transformation across the enterprise – consultative skills (asking the right questions, creating momentum with dialogue, driving towards deliverables and outcomes, project/portfolio management, organization design -- structure and process, change management progress and outcome measurement)

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Banking / consumer financial experience
    • Experience of working with senior stakeholders
    • Experience project managing the delivery of a new product or significant product change
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management and program management skills
    • Strong stakeholder management
    • Ability to interact and influence at all levels and across functions within an organization
    • Ability to develop excellent relationships at all levels within an organization
    • Ability to balance strategic focus with tactical implementation/execution
    • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects at the same time
    • Strong sense of detail and urgency, with the ability to motivate others to deliver
    • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
    • Bachelor’s degree
