    AIMS: Alternative Investments & Manager Selection.
    The Alternative Investments & Manager Selection (AIMS) Group is a business unit in GSAM and  provides investors with investment and advisory solutions, across leading hedge fund managers, private equity funds, real estate managers, and traditional long-only managers. The AIMS Group manages globally diversified programs, targeted sector-specific strategies, customized portfolios, and a range of advisory services. Our investors access opportunities through new fund commitments, fund-of-fund investments, strategic partnerships, secondary-market investments, co-investments, and seed-capital investments. With over 300 professionals across eight offices around the world, the AIMS Group provides manager diligence, portfolio construction, risk management, and liquidity solutions to investors, drawing on Goldman Sachs' market insights and risk management expertise. We extend these capabilities to the world's leading sovereign wealth funds, pension plans, governments, financial institutions, endowments, foundations and family offices, for which we invest or advise on over $150 billion. The AIMS Client Reporting team works closely with the investment and client solutions areas within AIMS and with functional teams across the broader firm including, Central Trading, Fund Accounting/Controllers, Operations, Technology, Legal and Compliance.




    • Create detailed and complex reporting packages for all private equity funds across the AIMS platform
    • Generate Quarterly Letters reports for private equity funds and ensure accuracy across investment activity, cashflows, portfolio highlights, composition, and Annex commentaries
    • Coordinate closely with technology to address issues related to system and data discrepancies across core systems and teams (Controllers, Shareholder Services, Operations, etc)
    • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure strong focus on delivering best in class reporting
    • Produce analyses on funds related to performance, exposure and concentrations, diversification, etc.
    • Respond to ad hoc requests from senior management and clients relating to funds and portfolio
    • Possess solid ability to communicate with senior management effectively on individual funds reporting as well as escalations
    • Actively assist in AIMS-wide initiatives and projects



    • At least 1-3 years of relevant experience
    • Bachelor's degree
    • Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Knowledge of private equity investments is preferred but not required
    • Knowledge and understanding of Excel, Access, VBA, other MS office applications and adaptability to other software products
    • Strong attention to detail
