    Transaction Banking

    Transaction Banking aims to provide comprehensive cash management solutions for corporations.     The Role:

    As part of our global team you will work on various components as a Software Engineer. Your role includes specification, development, as well as the testing and rollout of new features. You are expected to contribute to the vision, understand our product roadmap, integrate business value with experience and contribute to building an engineering culture within the team. We expect the successful candidate to deliver high quality software and to be passionate about software engineering. You must have a proficient understanding of software development concepts. A good understanding of Cloud concepts is needed. You will also be responsible to develop easy to support software and liaise with our SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) team to factor in their requirements. 


    We are looking for a Senior API Engineer to design and implement secure, resilient and scalable services to support our business.  These services will connect with other services and systems to combine to meet the goals of our clients and stakeholders.



    • Manage multiple tasks and use sound judgment when prioritizing
    • Have solid understanding of enterprise services architecture which runs on HTTP
    • Collaborate with global cross-functional team in building customer-centric products
    • Analyze software implementations to identify areas of improvement and provide deadline estimates for implementing new features
    • Update and maintain documentation for team processes, best practices and software runbooks
    • Establish trusted partnerships with peers, product heads, and executive level stakeholders
    • Must be passionate about technology and engineering
    • Exceptional analytical skills and ability to apply knowledge and experience in decision-making to arrive at creative and commercial solutions
    • Ability to leverage technology to deliver business value
    • Must be independent and comfortable in a fast-paced, ambiguous and often multi-directional work environment

    Basic Qualifications:

    • S. or higher in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
    • Expected at least 8 years of experience in delivery of business solutions using custom developed software across the full stack, both hands-on and in team leadership roles
    • 5 years of experience with Java, orjs for delivery of HTTP services
    • 3 years of experience collaborating with git in a multi-developer team
    • Implementation experience in avoiding OWASP Top Ten vulnerabilities and other secure development practices
    • Experience sustaining high test coverage team culture
    • Experience with modern SDLC pipeline delivery solutions
    • Familiar with multiple browser platforms and versions
    • Exposure to HTTP/TCP network protocols
    • Attention to detail and exceptionally high standards
    • Experience leveraging test driven development techniques
    • Comfortable with Agile operating models
    • Team-oriented
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Energetic, self-directed and self-motivated

    Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

    • Microservices architecture
    • Highly available frequent deployment practices such as Blue/Green
    • Use of API management platform
    • Amazon AWS
    • Financial Services or Fintech
