    Full Stack Engineer Role

    As a software engineer in Risk & Control Technology, you will work closely with a talented team to build and own part of our ecosystem used by capital, supervisory control and risk professionals within the Securities Division to improve service to our clients, identify risks, and opportunities, support the firms stress testing deliverables and enhance business controls for the firm. At the core of our platform is a modern web stack built on RESTful services, big data technologies and dynamic compute - using a variety of open-source, commercial, and proprietary technologies. You will engineer software across all phases of the software development lifecycle: working with management to design new features, building those features, creating and running tests, receiving feedback, and delivering enhancements. You will have the opportunity to work at all levels of the tech stack.



    • Engage with Securities Division Franchise Management to engineer regulatory and risk related solutions
    • Build and support applications / APIs to maintain the Securities Division’s data
    • Identify areas for process automation and further efficiencies
    • Practice sustainable incident response
    • Provide meaningful insights into the Securities Division’s business controls using data and analytics
    • Implement new controls, flows and processes that adhere to firm and regulatory standards
    • Enhance existing systems by implementing automated testing and zero-touch configuration management and deployment



    • 3-5 years of hands on development experience(Java/Full stack) with exposure to the full software development lifecycle
    • Familiar with design patterns, domain driven design and other software development best practices
    • Experience with JavaScript and at least one web application framework (React/Angular)
    • Relational database experience (e.g. Sybase, UDB) and/or ORM frameworks.
    • Experience in Unix Scripting languages like Shell, Python, Perl etc.
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
    • Strong work ethic, a sense of ownership and urgency
    • Excellent communications skills(written & oral) and the ability to work with subject matter experts
    • Independent thinker, willing to engage, challenge or learn
    • Ability to stay commercially focused and to always push for quantifiable commercial impact
    • Strong team player, required to work extensively with other teams both locally and globally


    • Data visualization (e.g. Qlikview, Tableau) & data modelling experience.
    • Full Stack Java development
    • Prior experience with Dodd Frank Act Stress Testing (DFAST) desirable
