    The Investment Banking Division in Atlanta is looking for an Associate with current investment banking (or related) experience to join the team.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

    HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

    Role Responsibilities:


    You will have the benefit of working across multiple industries and will receive direct execution experience across M&A, equity offerings, debt issuances and shareholder advisory.


    You will have exposure to the firm's businesses and clients to help develop an expansive knowledge investment banking products and practices.


    You will work closely with Partners, Managing Directors and Vice Presidents and will have a leadership role in working with fellow associates and analysts to complete assignments.


    You will play a vital role in assisting in the development of client relationships through an active role in idea generation, meeting preparation and transaction execution.

    SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR

    Basic Qualifications:


    Bachelor's degree plus at least 3 years' work experience or an MBA with at least 1 year of work experience


    Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written


    Strong analytical orientation, with experience performing financial and valuation analysis in Excel or comparable spread sheet tools


    Preferred Qualifications:


    Experience in M&A and/or other technical corporate finance work

     

    Strong team orientation and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with team members in multiple groups and regions


    Demonstrated interest in finance, companies, transactions and financial markets


    Demonstrated interest in and experience with working in teams
