In addition, Operations provides essential risk management and controls to preserve and enhance the firm's assets and its reputation. For every new product launched and every trade executed, it is Operations that develops and manages the processes and controls that enable business flow.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

    YOUR IMPACT

    We are seeking to recruit individuals to work in our newly formed Transaction Banking Operations Team, supporting our Global Payment offering. The candidate will have prior experience of supporting FX flows or Payment Services and a desire to deliver client service excellence within a new, evolving product. A good understanding of the operational processes required to support an FX Payments business is preferred.

    The ideal candidate will play a key role in building our next generation capabilities in the payments space by working alongside the business and development teams to interpret and implement FX specific requirements and be a member of the operational team supporting our clients as we deliver our new Transaction Banking businesses.

    You will help support our Global Payment business and clients to manage their daily payment flow, targeting an automated, best-in-class service as we move through product development, launch and implementation.

    As a global, multi-faceted and cross-product sub division, our primary objectives are to: lead from the front in helping build new payments-centric businesses, while building scale and improving agility to adapt to a rapidly changing payment landscape; act as a first line of defence for control and governance to protect firms financial assets; and incorporate differentiated client service to be best in class.  Treasury Services is a growing subdivision globally, with regional presence in Singapore, Bengaluru, London, New Jersey, New York and Salt Lake City with all our offices working closely together as a global team.

    The sub division has a rare opportunity to support products and businesses ranging across existing and new business lines, multiple payment types, and multiple client types, including franchise/institutional, consumer and corporate cash management sectors.  We manage a wide range of complex processes, with members developing skills and competencies around cash management (payment controls, bank account management, settlements and reconciliations, claims), change management, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.

     

    HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

    • Work as part of a Global Transaction Banking Operations team to deliver client service excellence as we build, launch, deliver and evolve new products.
    • Understand business needs, elicit, agree and document the requirements for FX payment flows, payment schemes and the processes surrounding them.
    • Be solution orientated and work in in an agile environment to build our Payments strategy, including FX Payments and other future Transaction Banking offerings
    • Help design and establish appropriate payment functions globally to support our clients’ Transaction Banking processes including payment risk management, investigation and repair functions, and firm/customer funding flows
    • Work with the business to resolve exceptions / issues and FX unwinds

     

    SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

     

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

     

    • Bachelor’s degree with 3.5+ years of professional and relevant experience
    • Solid, detailed understanding of FX business including FX Payments or International Payment Servicing
    • Experience in delivering client service excellence
    • Proficient in self-directed function management and client support
    • Proven analytical skills, problem solving ability, and a control mentality paired with meticulous attention to detail

     

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

     

    • Experience of FX or payment Servicing preferred
    • Candidate must be proactive, enthusiastic and team oriented
