The Americas PWM Management Team is seeking a PWM Training and Development Analyst, a professional who will manage the PWM Training Map (numerous training programs) and maintain the PWM Knowledge Bank. This individual will thrive in a fast-paced environment in which strong project management skills, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail are essential.



    Consumer and Investment Management (CIMD)

    The Consumer and Investment Management Division includes Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM), Private Wealth Management (PWM) and our Consumer business (Marcus by Goldman Sachs). We provide asset management, wealth management and banking expertise to consumers and institutions around the world. CIMD partners with various teams across the firm to help individuals and institutions navigate changing markets and take control of their financial lives.



    Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management (PWM) specializes in creating comprehensive wealth management plans for high net worth individuals and families, as well as select institutions, including foundations and endowments. PWM Teams work one-on-one with clients to advise and deliver customized strategies drawn from our deep investment experience, diverse wealth management capabilities and global reach. Our Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs) deliver an unparalleled investment platform inclusive of the full product and service offerings of Goldman Sachs and beyond, which may include tax and estate planning, philanthropic planning and private banking and lending services. As client needs evolve, this close relationship allows the team to offer complementary services and new opportunities by leveraging the resources of Goldman Sachs and beyond.


    The PWM Training and Development Analyst will be responsible for the project management and execution of the full PWM Training Map for our Private Wealth Advisor (PWA) and Client Service Professional (CSP) populations, in close collaboration with the Americas and Regional Management teams. This professional will also provide control and governance for the PWM Knowledge Bank, a centralized data bank for training, policy and procedures within PWM. He/she will liaise with Operations Management, Compliance, the Digital Advocacy Team, and others as necessary to ensure the PWM Knowledge Bank is maintained and reviewed regularly.



    Manage the PWM Training Map (numerous national training programs for PWAs and CSPs)


    • Manage the annual budgeting process and ensure appropriate approvals throughout the process
    • Maintain the attendance records and eligible participant lists for all programs
    • Manage the planning process for the respective programs; determine appropriate RMT Staffing, organize working groups, assign program champions, facilitate content review, update/maintain agenda, etc.
    • Maintain SharePoint sites with all materials and event management details
    • Work with the Services team to ensure successful execution of all logistics (room reservations, name tags, materials, technology requirement, invitation process, websites menus, hotel block reservations)
    • Manage presenters; work with RMT to staff and approve all presenters, confirm speaker availability, set up prep calls and prep materials, ensure materials needed for print and/or display are provided in coordination with Services Team
    • Provide on-the-ground oversight for each of the programs
    • Provide oversight and guidance for any regional training programs associated with the broader Training Map; ensure all materials for those programs are up to date


     PWM Knowledge Bank


    • Work alongside the Digital Advocacy Team, Operations, Compliance and others to maintain the central depository of all training materials and PWM functions in the PWM Knowledge Bank
    • Assume ownership and provide governance oversight over the process
    • Monitor and review all suggested changes with the appropriate team and ensure publication updates are made
    • Oversee a regular review of all content






    • Bachelor’s Degree required
    • Prior experience in PWM preferred
    • Self-starter who takes ownership and can lead/manage projects independently
    • Confidence and poise to work closely with management and business partners
    • Highly organized and process-oriented with strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through
    • Self-motivated and able to work in an autonomous, yet collaborative environment
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong organizational and interpersonal skills
    • Results-oriented; ability to thrive in a fast paced environment, handling multiple time-sensitive products while focusing on the quality of work delivered
    • Commitment to excellence and a high level of integrity
    • Good judgment and discretion, particularly when placed in demanding situations
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, HTML, CSS
