    Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)


    Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, NY. The Corporate Treasury group is responsible for managing the Firm's Liquidity, Funding, Balance Sheet and other financial resources to ensure the Firm is resilient in its abilities to conduct its activities. The department plays a key role in Firmwide strategic and analytical projects, providing a unique insight into the Firm's business activities and performance. Associate within Corporate Treasury team will serve as integral member of four-person team selected in the program management office (PMO) tasked with developing the Firm’s strategy for managing the Firm’s London Interbank Rate (LIBOR) and Benchmark Rate reform programs. Responsibilities include: Analyze, formulate, and present LIBOR transition risks and findings to senior management; Strategize, articulate, and efficiently execute the current and forward program strategy for the Firmwide transition team; Participate in global industrywide advocacy and consultation processes, which are being conducted to shape the future of the financial industry; Construct a bottoms-up and top-down Firmwide program to address the $370 Trillion market wide benchmark transition; Analyze, calculate and project the Firm’s short-, medium- and long-term liquidity needs; Develop and implement global and regional liquidity risk management and funding policies; Be responsible for efficiently monitoring, managing and sizing the Firm’s liquidity pool, composition and funding needs across various currencies; Produce key liquidity risk management metrics to manage day-to-day risks; and Apply mathematical and simulation modeling methods and present findings, calculations and proposed actions to senior management for decision-making.


    Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Management, Engineering, including Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related position working with capital markets. Prior work experience must include at least three (3) years with: Utilizing knowledge across a wide array of contracts (including ISDAs, GMRA/MRA/CSA, Loan agreements), asset types (wide range of fixed income assets, including FRNs, securitizations and loans), markets and disciplines; Communicating (written and verbal) risk management recommendations and strategies to senior management and interested stakeholders; Demonstrating ability to adapt in a dynamic and changing organization, as well as take ownership and accountability in relation to complex financial projects; Applying knowledge of financial markets, including repurchase and reverse repurchase transactions as funding sources, FX and capital markets, and macroeconomic factors, including interest rates that affect liquidity or lead to optimization opportunities; and Utilizing knowledge of financial services computer systems and methodologies (including Tableau) for accessing and deploying internal data to generate and analyze models/metrics that govern key decisions during various market scenarios. Prior work experience must include at least one (1) year with: Applying analytical skill and liquidity risk management expertise to design and implement financial strategies; and Applying understanding of inventories and risk metrics related to LIBOR, including legal contracts, market risks, models referencing LIBOR, operational dependencies and client needs related to LIBOR transition, as well as the risk and reputational implications of LIBOR transition.
