    HUMAN CAPITAL MANAGEMENT

    The Analyst/Sr. Analyst of HCM Process Design/Engineering will document, evaluate, and recommend improvements to HR processes, and implement improvements as needed. The role will generate documentation of existing processes and improvements, forecast expected results of process changes, analyse implemented changes, and make further adjustments to workflow, schedules or other processes, as required.

    HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

    • Evaluate and analyze current HR processes by gathering data and studying ways to make improvements to one or several steps to increase productivity, reduce costs, improve time management, and/or make needed changes to other aspects of the process.
    • Create documentation for senior leadership that outlines process improvement recommendations and detailed requirements.
    • Oversee implementation of new processes by working with managers, team members, and other employees to ensure that the plan is clear and can be applied quickly and efficiently (the Process Design Engineer will also be involved in training staff on these changes).
    • Provide post-implementation support by monitoring processes to ensure that they are producing the desired outcomes; make changes to steps in each process, as needed, to adjust improvements to reflect better results in production, cost reduction, and other targeted outcomes; ensure all systems are kept up to date.
    • Engage with HCM business units to review business processes, generate recommendations for leveraging analysis techniques including Six Sigma, and quantify business cases for subsequent implementation. 
    • Lead the effort to integrate design standards, approaches, tools, and other enablers into one coherent HR Process Management capability for HCM to use in designing solutions.
    • Collaborate with change groups, both inside and outside of HCM, to ensure our process design and engineering capabilities are understood, adopted, and supported. 
    • Streamline and standardize business processes performed across the HCM Division. 
    • Build relationships with key stakeholders in HCM and be an advocate of process design and process engineering

    QUALIFICATIONS

     

    SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

     

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • 2-3 years of process manager experience or similar role. Familiarity with HR technologies and/or financial services sector.
    • Relevant Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) and/or graduate degree
    • Proven track record managing complex, large-scale process design and engineering efforts from scope to completion.
    • Exceptional analytical, organizational and communication skills with ability to work to tight deadlines
    • Numerate and a lateral thinker, strong data analysis skills, and a strong attention to detail
    • Detail-oriented problem-solver who is able to employ leadership, critical thinking, and time management skills
    • 3+ years of practical process improvement and / or process re-engineering. 
    • Hands on experience with one or more quality management methods (i.e. LEAN, Six Sigma, Kaizen, TQM, BPR).
    • Ability to work in project teams to help formulate the implications of a specific solution across the process, e.g. costs, risk, potential for re-use of services developed, etc.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
    • Highly collaborative, team-oriented, and strong consensus builder with confidence in interaction with senior stakeholders.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels within the firm.
    • High level of maturity, demonstrated ability to manage confidential information, and impeccable judgment.
    • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure; able to manage and execute effectively on multiple, time-sensitive projects, with keen sense of urgency.
    • Openness to feedback and strong self-awareness.
    • Strong detail orientation – highly organized with excellent follow-through and delivery.
