    Vice President with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Jersey City, NJ.


    Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)


    Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Jersey City, NJ. Vice President on Workplace Apps development team. Responsible for designing new middleware, data and platforms for Workplace Engineering and engaging in active development to build out features on existing and new platforms. Architect the AXON platform, which will serve as the unified telephony middleware for the firm. Currently this platform will support enterprise voice and will extend to integrate all telephony middleware including Trader Voice, Audio and Video Conferencing. Work with junior team members to create a charge back platform “ChargeRite.” This platform intends to create a transparent chargeback model for workplace products and creates an automated way to chargeback to the business. Manage and support a Node JS development platform which was built to standardize Node JS components to build web applications in the team. Support and manage the present architecture and the future of our request management platform “ReqMan.” This platform logs and manages request transactions and creates a detailed activity history of any provisioning workflow. Supervising the day-to-day activities of various junior members on the team, including interns and associates.


    Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, Informatics or a related field. Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related role. Must have five (5) years of experience with: Node JS Programming; React; Java, including experience with Vertx; Mongo DB, PostGres and Sybase; Architecting and building multi-tier applications which process large amounts of data; and designing solutions to do provisioning and automation for multiple workplace infrastructure products. Must have three (3) years of experience with: EP Workflow; and UML.
