    YOUR IMPACT

Are you looking to apply your analytical and creative skills to deliver positive and frictionless digital customer experiences? We are looking for a Product Manager who has a passion for financial markets to join the Digital Investing Team and support new IPO-related business. In this role, you will work closely with the PWM Capital Allocation Team, which partners with Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs) and the Investment Banking Division (IBD) to provide access to Equity Capital Markets (ECM) transactions for PWM clients. The ideal candidate is resourceful and detail-oriented with prior experience as a product manager on an agile team and/or experience in the financial services industry, with a previous focus on trading or operations functions.

As a Digital Product Manager, you will engage with key stakeholders across business, product, and engineering to develop, prioritize and build the product roadmap for this new IPO-related product offering,. You will also support ongoing IPO related events by liaising with trading teams in the division and the external custodian for this business. Candidate will also have exposure more broadly across CIMD in the build-out of other digital product offerings.

This is an opportunity to make an impact in the expanding offerings that Goldman Sachs provides to its client base.  In this role, you will join a team committed to superior customer experience, operating at a fast pace to improve and extend the private wealth and consumer product lines.

    • Work alongside design, engineering, marketing, legal, compliance, operations and other teams to build delightful, easy-to-use features that solve customer problems related to personal finance
    • Own and prioritize a product backlog—using data to make informed tradeoffs between new feature development, platform investment and user issues/feedback
    • Take ownership of the IPO lifecycle, liaising with the Capital Allocation team, onboarding new deals and closely following IPO timelines
    • Closely liaise with internal operations teams and external vendors to ensure oversight of the delivery of IPO shares to our clients
    • Define, design and build product features by writing user stories with detailed acceptance criteria and groom stories with developers and designers
    • Use data, user research and a test and learn approach to inform decisions and continually optimize products
    • Maintain continuous focus on crafting and adjusting designs to simplify complex advice, actions and products
    • Collaborate with other product managers and designers to ensure cohesiveness of the overall customer experience

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • 1-3 years of product management experience in a fast-paced, agile product development environment
    • Strong interest in the financial markets and/or consumer financial products
    • Experience with middle office job functions like custodian management, account opening, and funding
    • Demonstrate a high degree of personal accountability, going above and beyond to ensure that products are delivered on time with a high degree of quality
    • Aptitude for logically breaking down complex problems and processes, documenting workflows and edge cases, and communicating solutions with clarity
    • Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment with heavy emphasis on teamwork
    • Excellent attention to detail and communication / presentation skills
    • Project management and organizational skills are a must

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Experience in equity markets, preferably with a broad knowledge of equity capital markets and public market transactions
    • Experience with consumer products/services (including but not limited to: consumer lending, mobile banking applications, deposits etc.)
