    The Consumer and Investment Management Division includes Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM), Private Wealth Management (PWM) and our Consumer business (Marcus by Goldman Sachs). We provide asset management, wealth management and banking expertise to consumers and institutions around the world. CIMD partners with various teams across the firm to help individuals and institutions navigate changing markets and take control of their financial lives.





    The CIMD Marketplace team is a product organization composed of talented and passionate product managers, designers and engineers currently building tools and technologies that are transforming the traditional product selection, purchase and post purchase experiences of financial and non-financial products. We aim to create both self-directed and advisor led Marketplace capabilities in a scalable, automated and personalized manner.

    Are you looking to apply your analytical and creative skills to deliver positive and frictionless digital customer experiences? We are looking for a program manager/vendor manager to join the Marketplace team and help build consumer self-directed and advisor led Marketplace journeys on an end-to-end e-commerce platform. Ideal candidate has past program and vendor management experience, understands consumer buying behavior, has sourced, on-boarded and managed multiple vendors, is resourceful and detail-oriented. The candidate should be a self-starter and comfortable dealing with ambiguity, change and being able to collaborate closely with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders.

    • Inform and drive the “big picture” Marketplace strategy while also rolling up your sleeves and being an individual contributor on specific workstreams and projects
    • Lead vendor management initiatives for the workstream- specifically, sourcing, selecting, onboarding and managing various vendors and proprietary Goldman products and services.
    • Ability to synthesize, prioritize and recommend various product and services to senior leadership and lay down approach/timing
    • Lead program management aspects of multiple high-impact workstreams, spanning front-end and back-end development
    • Build trusted relationships with our design, engineering, marketing, legal, operations and other external teams to craft and launch beautiful, easy-to-use features that help meet customer’s financial, household and lifestyle needs
    • Use data, user research and a test and learn approach to inform decisions and continually optimize products
    • Collaborate with other product managers and designers to ensure cohesiveness of the overall customer experience


    • 7-10 years of program and vendor management experience in a fast-paced, agile product development environment
    • Demonstrate a high degree of personal accountability, going above and beyond to ensure that products are delivered on time with a high degree of quality
    • Proficient in major design, development and project management applications (i.e., Sketch, Confluence, Jira, etc.)
    • Aptitude for logically breaking down complex problems and processes, documenting workflows and edge cases, and communicating solutions with clarity
    • Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment with heavy emphasis on teamwork
    • Excellent attention to detail and communication / presentation skills



    • 3+ years’ experience leading teams that have successfully launched new consumer finance products
    • Experience in ecommerce and vendor management, preferably with broad knowledge around customer buying behavior, propensity to purchase, engagement, managing complex product and vendor portfolio at scale etc.
    • Experience with financial products/services (including but not limited to: consumer lending, mobile banking applications, deposits, tax preparation etc.)
