    Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)


    Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Jersey City, NJ. Vice President in the Business Finance Engineering team. Lead a development team and serve as the subject matter expert on the firm’s Expense Allocations and Attribution Systems. Lead development projects and participate in providing work estimates, raising critical project issues such as technical/project risks, managing project deliverables and timelines with appropriate oversight and control. Responsible for end-to-end systems development cycle from requirements analysis, coding, testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and maintenance of financial applications. Interface with the Firm’s federation and revenue divisions, including Finance Controllers, CFOs and Divisional Management and Strategy teams. Develop technical specifications, high level/detailed design, test and implementation plans from business requirements. Design, evaluate, and recommend tools and technologies that the team should be using to help solve problems especially in visualizing, storing large financial data and transactions in web applications with appropriate security and entitlement controls. Analyze, enhance and maintain a suite of web applications using both in-house and industry recognized technologies such as JAVA, J2EE, Elastic Search, NodeJS, DB2 databases, with HTML, CSS, Angular JS or ReactJS enabled front end. Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior teammates. Participate in internal technology committees and recruiting efforts. Must be willing to work with proprietary technologies. No knowledge of proprietary technologies is required pre-hire.


    Job Requirements: Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, a related Technology degree, or a related field and three (3) years in the job offered or related role OR Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, a related Technology degree, or a related field and five (5) years in the job offered or related role. Must have three (3) years of experience with: Object-Oriented Application Development (such as Java or another OO language) and design patterns. Must have two (2) years of experience with: modern web-application architectures including SOA, Microservices, Client-server, Restful, and Event driven architectures; and testing best practices with knowledge of Java unit testing tools including Junit and PowerMock. Must have one (1) year of experience with: modern web-application architectures including: UI Development with HTML, CSS and Javascript including AngularJS, ReactJS and JQuery and Java 1.8 or higher, including an understanding of advanced topics including Lambdas, Streams, JDBC, Reflections, Generics and collection framework; working across the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) of product development, including requirements gathering; Functional and Technical Design; Development; User Acceptance Testing; Release Procedures; Change request analysis; and Production support; managing large scale global development projects and working on a global software development team and communicating status/design effectively across multiple regions; working concurrently on multiple projects, managing business priorities and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
