    INTERNAL AUDIT 

    In Internal Audit, we ensure that Goldman Sachs maintains effective controls by assessing the reliability of financial reports, monitoring the firm’s compliance with laws and regulations, and advising management on developing smart control solutions. Our group has unique insight on the financial industry and its products and operations. We’re looking for detail-oriented team players who have an interest in financial markets and want to gain insight into the firm’s operations and control processes.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

    YOUR IMPACT:

    Internal Audit is seeking to add a highly motivated Administrative Assistant. This role is to support approximately 6 professionals and provide back-up support to the broader team, some of whom travel extensively with complex schedules. Previous experience in supporting a team and managing complex calendars is preferred as well as the ability to work well under pressure in a busy and dynamic environment.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provides administrative support in a team environment to one Managing Director and his team.
    • Coordinates internal / external meetings and conference calls.
    • Handles a high volume of phones calls.
    • Interacts with employees of all levels in a professional and effective manner.
    • Maintains complex and detailed calendars.
    • Prioritizes meeting requests and related logistics.
    • Coordinates travel arrangements and processes expense reports.
    • Maintains understanding of firm policies and handles issues independently.
    • Responsible for general assistant duties such as copying, filing, faxing, archiving.
    • Responsible for ad-hoc tasks as requested.

    SKILLS:

    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Team player with a positive attitude.
    • Prefer 3+ years of experience.
    • Interpersonal and communication skills.
    • High attention to detail.
    • Ability to maintain high standards and comfortableness despite pressing deadlines.
    • Self-starter with excellent anticipation skills, problem solving and follow up.
    • Demonstrates dependability and sense of urgency about getting results.
    • Demonstrates high degree of integrity and confidentiality.
