    Vice President with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Salt Lake City, UT.


    Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)


    Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Salt Lake City, UT. Design, develop, test, and support various Private Wealth Management (PWM) trading platform components for multi-asset classes. Design and develop trading applications for Private Wealth Management (PWM) utilizing Java/J2EE, C#/WPF, HTML and UNIX on a distributed platform. Review code developed by peers and junior team members. Work closely with business/end users and other technology groups within the Firm to elicit/understand business and technical requirements and translate requirements into well-engineered business applications. Lead design discussions and evaluate and select tools necessary to build, test, and support systems. Implement new systems using a variety of object-oriented languages including the Firm’s proprietary development platform. Support the production environment, assist in the diagnosis and resolution of incidents, and maintain the stability and integrity of systems. Participate as part of a global team on large development projects and/or assume responsibility for components of projects, depending on need. Must be willing to work with proprietary technologies. No knowledge of proprietary technologies is required pre-hire.


    Job Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (U.S. or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field such as Software Engineering or Electronic Engineering. Five (5) years of experience (with Bachelor’s degree) or three (3) years of experience (with Master’s degree) in the job offered or a related software development role. Prior experience must include five (5) years of experience (with Bachelor’s degree) or three (3) years of experience (with Master’s degree) with: Building applications in a front office role that can be used by Trading Desks and working with Trading Desks to support trade booking and trade reporting flows; Programming in object-oriented languages such as Java, Python, C++, C#, JSP, HTML, JavaScript or JMS; Working with front-end  technologies for web development such as JSP, Struts, Angular or a comparable web framework; Integrating web-services frameworks and messaging technologies by leveraging JMS, Flask, Web-services or RMI; Applying agile methodologies for software development, including automated testing frameworks such as FitNesse or Junit; Developing real-time, multithreaded, multi-tier and distributed applications; and Working with the entire software development life cycle, including interacting with end users and converting user requirements into technical solutions.
