    CONSUMER AND INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT DIVISION (CIMD)

    The Consumer and Investment Management Division includes Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM), Private Wealth Management (PWM) and our Consumer business (Marcus by Goldman Sachs). We provide asset management, wealth management and banking expertise to consumers and institutions around the world. CIMD partners with various teams across the firm to help individuals and institutions navigate changing markets and take control of their financial lives.

     

    PWM

    Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management (PWM) specializes in creating comprehensive wealth management plans for high net worth individuals and families, as well as select institutions, including foundations and endowments. PWM Teams work one-on-one with clients to advise and deliver customized strategies drawn from our deep investment experience, diverse wealth management capabilities and global reach. Our Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs) deliver an unparalleled investment platform inclusive of the full product and service offerings of Goldman Sachs and beyond, which may include tax and estate planning, philanthropic planning and private banking and lending services. As client needs evolve, this close relationship allows the team to offer complementary services and new opportunities by leveraging the resources of Goldman Sachs and beyond

     

    MISSION
    The Project Coordinator role at United Capital, A Goldman Sachs Company, is an integral part of the Growth Optimization Department, as you assist in the organization and implementation of your essential responsibilities, as listed below. In this role you will report directly to the Director of Growth Optimization. You will also need to work productively in a team environment, as well as independently to provide support and coordination of team projects. To be successful in this role, you need to have the ability to multitask, take initiative and work proactively to solve problems with minimal guidance. The ability to manage multiple functions and tasks in a very fast paced environment is absolutely essential in this role.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

     

    • Department Support
    • Possibly manage travel for the Growth Optimization team including the booking of flights & hotels, coordination of multiple individual travel plans, etc.
    • Possibly maintain multiple executive's appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel
    • Provide daily support as needed to ensure timely completion of all projects and activities
    • Schedule department calls and meetings as directed
    • Schedule department business travel as directed
    • Production/Work Product Development
    • Gather, compile and review data and/or relevant information necessary to draft work product or content
    • Draft and proof Excel spreadsheets, comprehensive Word reports, PowerPoint shows, and other work related to the onboarding or practice development of regional offices subject matter based upon senior level input and direction
    • Responsible for and frequently contributes to the quality and consistent improvement in the work product of the department
    • Proof and review work product for quality and accuracy as directed
    • Create forms, templates, tools and model resources to support regional office practice development based upon senior level input
    • Prepare necessary meeting documents such as agendas, communications, etc.
    • Compile data and project materials from multiple team members while working on additional special projects
    • Identify and work to resolve problems under the guidance of senior leadership
    • Project Management
    • Assist with the project management and coordination of all regional anchor offices assigned to you
    • Actively participate in regional anchor office calls and escalate any red flag issues as appropriate
    • Maintain integrity of internal project management & regional office project plans
    • Coordinate and support workflow processes as it relates to the project plans set for regional anchor offices with direct oversight from senior leadership
    • Coordinate with project leads on project management
    • Coordinate training events and conferences under the direct supervision of senior leadership
    • Oversee, coordinate and follow up for ongoing business projects: capture and calendar next steps, obtain status reports assist with work product as needed and insure timely completion
    • Oversee, coordinate, and follow up for business event planning
    • Provide support to ensure expectations of the Business Optimization department are met

     

    POSITION SPECIFICATIONS


    Experience and Education:

    • A bachelor’s degree and/or related work experience is preferred
    • Ideally 3-5 years’ experience as an administrative or support professional
    • A proven track record in managing complex and multiple projects across various departments
    • Comfort with being a “team player” and doing whatever is needed, big or small
    • Demonstrated flexibility, self-discipline and ability to work independently as well as within a group
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage to deadlines
    • Ability to self-direct and manage time and priorities

     

    Skills and Knowledge:

    • Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite required (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)
    • Be self-motivated and goal oriented
    • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and listening) 
    • Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM preferred
