    Vice President with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York.

     

    Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

    Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York. Responsible for: Managing a book of client accounts with a focus on quantitative and systematic investing. Managing, driving and selling US, Canadian, Brazilian and Mexican markets as a product of our Firm to a large and expansive client base. Serving as the primary liaison for Latin American clients regarding global equities electronic trading as well as for global clients regarding Latin American equities electronic trading. Guiding a team of strategists and engineers to enhance execution algorithms and drive Latin American product development. Applying expert knowledge of equity markets and market structure to develop and conduct analysis of strategies, trades and client opportunities. Elaborating and communicating detailed and in-depth performance analysis and reporting with clients. Educating the sales force on any updates and relevant analysis on our Latin American offering. Working with various desks in the Equity and Fixed Income Divisions to drive client revenue. Working with technology, operations, risk management, and compliance teams to provide input on projects and optimize workflow solutions.

     

    Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field. Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related Equity Trading position, with experience in Latin America Electronic Trading. Prior work experience must include five (5) years of experience with: Americas equities market structure; Executing equity trades across the U.S. and Latin America; Conveying complex financial transactions and strategies to clients and senior stakeholders; Coding/programming in any script based language, including knowledge of SQL; Leveraging MS Excel skills in order to build spreadsheets, analyze and present data, and build VBA automated scripts; Working on multiple requests at the same time; and Providing market color and trade ideas to clients as well as sales teams. Prior work experience must include four (4) years of experience working with Equity Swaps. Prior work experience must include three (3) years of experience with providing client service and executing client portfolio management. Proficiency in Portuguese and Spanish languages required to cover clients in Latin America and communicate with Exchanges and Broker Dealers in the region. FINRA Series 7, 55/57 & 63 licenses required. Travel to client sites for relationship-building is required approximately 10% of the time.
