    Associate with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Jersey City, New Jersey.


    Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)


    Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Jersey City, New Jersey. Holistic ownership and understanding of client accounts by coordinating client events and issues across all operations teams and business partners and acting as a single point of contact for Operations. Coordinate and manage tasks across a multi-disciplined team to ensure all operational information relating to an account event is received and systems are set up prior to account trading activity. Liaise with client’s appointed counterparties (custodian, prime broker etc.) to enable connectivity, establish operational flows and respond to service requests and inquiries. Interpret and determine Operational client requirements and service standards from legal documentation and business requirements supporting all account events. Review account level metrics (i.e. reconciling items on cash/position reconciliations, daily corporate actions, NAV Reconciliations, failing trades, standard/non-standard reporting deliverables) as defined by operating standards and research, and escalate and remediate exceptions as appropriate. Provide trading desk support to include ad-hoc queries as well as ongoing business initiatives. Proactively review indicators of operational issues/concerns with the goal of resolving such issues before client impact.


    Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or equivalent) in Economics or a related field. Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related position. Prior experience must include three (3) years of experience with: liaising with technology groups to initiate, communicate, and implement projects related to business changes or regulatory requirements; and communicating operational risk impact across all levels of an organization (both verbally and written). Prior experience must include two (2) years of experience with: managing business risks by identifying risk and inefficiencies in processes and driving initiatives to mitigate risks and improve processes; prioritizing projects while ensuring on-time delivery of daily client responsibilities; and training, coaching, developing, and mentoring people. Prior experience must include one (1) year of experience with: working across global teams to onboard and service global clients with regional nuances; and working with equity and fixed income products and core derivatives, settlement processes, and confirmation processes.
