You have a strong reputation delivering world-class user experiences and working on a multi-disciplinary team to bring them to life, contributing to the creative future of Marcus. You are peers with the ambitious and talented team of designers to ship game-changing products with our product managers and technologists, while focusing on skill-building, pushing the boundaries of design, collaboration and growth. As a creative and designer, you'll understand the needs of users and reframe them into delightful experiences for our customers, with a keen attention to detail and curiosity.

 

You should have experience in user-centered interface design, visual design, and experience designing product that launched into the world (web, mobile, app, email, and informing advertising, out of home, web, print, DM, and/or social). You are well versed in visual identity, style, and design systems, bringing a curiosity for industry best practices, ability to hunt down the latest advancements in trends, emerging patterns, and their applicability to our products. You work best when you are working with a team on cracking complex problems and crafting them into elegantly simple, intuitive designs with an eye for the detail.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years of professional experience designing digital products
  • Multiplatform consumer product design experience
  • Experience in design thinking/ human centered design
  • Collaborate with peers in and out of the discipline
  • Strong ability to work within a defined design system and style
  • Strong graphic sensibility
  • Customer journey definition and design
  • Creative concepting
  • Prototyping
  • Experience working in agile framework
  • Able to apply creative direction
  • Ability to constructively critique design
  • Passion! ate about solving customer problems
  • Experience providing design rationale and communicating intent
  • Strong problem-solving and organization skills
  • A positive, constructive can-do attitude
  • The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • An obsession with digital trends and design
  • A clean design aesthetic and the ability to simplify the complex

  • Consumer banking or FinTech experience
  • Motion design
  • 3-D animation
  • Ethnography/customer research
