Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Duties: Vice  President  with  Goldman  Sachs  &  Co.  LLC  in  New York, NY.  Actively  assist  in  the  development,  enhancement,  and  repair  of  payment  infrastructure  and  technical  architecture  that  support  our  consumer  businesses.  Drive  the  development  and  execution  of  consumer  and  corporate  projects  enabling  domestic  payments  solutions  for  our  consumer  business  lines.  Coordinate  payment  control  functions  including  sanctions  control  and  liaise  with  Anti-Money  Laundering  (AML),  Financial  crimes  and  compliance  team  to  resolve  payment  exception  risks.  Identify  and  articulate  operational  risk  areas  across  a  broad  range  of  functions  and  systems.  Analyze  business  requirements,  develop  requirement  documents  and  translate  those  requirements  into  project  deliverables  and  measures  of  success.  Write  functional  specifications  for  technical  architecture,  plan  and  coordinate  technical  projects  that  build  out  architecture/infrastructure,  and  coordinate  implementation.  Assist  internal  business  units  to  resolve  cash  settlement  exceptions  /  issues.

 

Job Requirements: Master’s  degree  (US  or  foreign  equivalent)  in  Computer  Science,  a  relevant  Engineering  discipline,  or  Business  Administration.  MBA  candidates  should  possess  a  Bachelor’s  degree  in  Computer  Science  or  a  relevant  Engineering  discipline;  Candidates  that  possess  a  Master’s  degree  in  a  relevant  Engineering  discipline  or  Computer  Science,  should  possess  a  Bachelor’s  degree  in  Business  Administration.  Eight  (8)  years  of  experience  in  the  job  offered  or  in  a  related  role.  Must  have  (4)  years  of  experience:  eliciting  requirements  from  business  users;  communicating  requirements  to  technical  teams;  prioritizing  roadmap  and  communicating/coordinating  with  cross  functional  teams;  working  concurrently  on  and  delivering  multiple  time  sensitive  projects  in  a  highly  ambiguous  environment;  analyzing  and  processing  large  data  sets  in  support  of  business  intelligence  needs,  and  conducting  business  analysis;  utilizing  project  management  skills  to  liaise  with  Technology  groups  to  initiate,  communicate,  develop  and  test  requirements  to  effectively  implement  cross-divisional  projects  related  to  business  changes  or  regulatory  requirements;  and  presenting  to  key  stakeholders  across  different  business  units  including  senior  management  for  buy  in  with  respect  to  project  scope,  prioritization,  funding,  approach,  risk  mitigation  and  implementation  plans.  Must  have  two  (2)  years  of  experience  in  Agile  methodologies.  Must  have  one  (1)  year  of  experience  with  clearing  and  settlement  of  US  digital  payments  networks  including  ACH,  credit  and  debit  rails.
