Operations is a dynamic, multi-faceted division that partners with all parts of the firm to provide banking, securities, and asset management services to clients around the world. In addition, Operations provides essential risk management and controls to preserve and enhance the firm's assets and its reputation. For every new product launched and every trade executed, it is Operations that develops and manages the processes and controls that enable business flow.



The Business Unit Manager supports Senior Management across a plethora of activities to ensure that the organization functions effectively. The BUM manages day to day operational tasks and priorities to inform the Senior Management decision-making to improve and grow the organization.



  • Advisory capacity to Senior Management to drive business strategy and growth for the organization
  • Manage and direct all administrative activities for Senior Management, such as hiring, headcount, townhalls, team meetings, recruitment process, etc.
  • Manage all finances for Senior Management, such as budgets, expenses, forecasting, cost allocations, etc.
  • Organize and prioritize critical issues and prepare memos / briefings with key highlights and takeaways to Senior management to facilitate efficient and informed decision making
  • Write and manage all internal communications on behalf of Senior Management / Global organization, such as department updates, regular newsletter postings, speaking points, etc.
  • Oversight and advisor to global projects
  • Liaise between Senior Management, regional leadership, and stakeholders from other departments


Preferred Skills / Basic Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Powerpoint, Excel, Word
  • Excellent professional communication, both written and oral and ability to interact with all levels (entry level analysts to partners) and different personalities.
  • Intellectual curiosity, self-starter, disciplined, and extremely organized
  • Ability to manage own time and meet deadlines
  • Forward and strategic thinking to anticipate asks or solutions to meet the needs of the business, firm, and clients
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the broader global organization’s functions, goals, and people
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience
