We are looking for an experienced Microsoft and Office 365 engineer to provide technical leadership and hands on delivery. This is an opportunity to be part of a global team responsible for digitally transforming the document management and collaboration workflows for 3000+ users in the Investment Banking Business.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Responsibilities:

 

  • Apply functional knowledge and technical expertise in the Microsoft Productivity offerings and promote innovative solutions for the Investment Banking Business; advise on best practices of use and third-party integrations.
  • Define and execute Microsoft\Office 365 deployment and migration strategy
  • Performance engineer the Office platform; improve our feature and patch release quality
  • Provide guidance on the architecture and engineering of Microsoft\Office 365 Groups as well as providing technical knowledge on various Teams architecture elements deployed in an Enterprise environment.
  • Liaise with multiple engineering teams for required system integrations
  • Assist in the architecture of security policies encompassing all Microsoft\Office 365 and Azure services.
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers
  • Act as a catalyst for change and driving innovation throughout the organization
  • Utilize strong scripting (PowerShell) skills to effectively automate the on premise and cloud services

 

Qualifications:

  • 4-7 years of experience working in a Microsoft Systems Engineering role within a high paced IT environment
  • Proven experience with Microsoft\Office 365 Suite, Azure AD and Exchange Online
  • Must have experience with configuring, deploying and managing Office 365 workloads for Microsoft Teams
  • Knowledge of Authentication, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and Conditional Access Policies
  • Strong understanding of the latest Microsoft desktop, server and cloud platforms
  • Solid understanding of Windows administration and PowerShell scripting
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to summarize complex issues and situations concisely and clearly
  • Strong team player and ability to work with diverse stakeholders and colleagues to ensure successful upgrades, installations or integration activities
  • Experience integrating Microsoft\Office 365 with Salesforce (Optimizing email association with Lightning for Outlook app, scheduling meetings from Salesforce, etc.)
  • Experience analyzing Microsoft\Office 365 usage data to identify issues and usage patterns
