MORE ABOUT THIS JOB

EXECUTIVE OFFICE

The Executive Office plays an integral role in setting and advancing Goldman Sachs’ corporate strategy, and in preserving the firm’s distinctive culture. We are responsible for safeguarding the firm’s relationship with alumni, clients, shareholders, policy makers, and the broader public, while ensuring that our own people remain informed about the firm’s evolving priorities. We also partner with the businesses to source high-impact opportunities in line with the firm’s social and sustainability agendas.

Brand and Content Strategy Summary

The Brand and Content Strategy (BCS) group is responsible for managing the external facing brand of Goldman Sachs and creating content that explains our businesses, the work we do for clients, the impact we have on our communities, and our unique and collaborative culture. We create content and campaigns distributed across goldmansachs.com, social media, paid media, sponsored content hubs, and other platforms to key audiences of importance to the firm’s reputation, commercial objectives, and recruiting goals. As such, our team also manages the firm’s presence on social media (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube) and the GS.com website. We manage marketing for firm recruitment efforts, philanthropy (e.g., 10,000 Women, 10,000 Small Businesses), sustainability, and key initiatives such as Launch With GS. As well, we lead masterbrand strategy and serve as internal marketing consultants to the different businesses across the firm.

Role Summary:

This Associate will support the Brand & Content Strategy team’s overall efforts primarily with our overall Employer Brand (i.e. recruitment marketing)— which connects the firm with a diverse global talent pool and positions us as an employer of choice across markets—and Launch With GS, one of the firm’s commercial initiative aimed at increasing access to capital for women, Black, Latinx, and other diverse investors and entrepreneurs. BCS acts as brand managers for these areas, and the Associate will build key internal client relationships while managing high-priority projects in pursuit of brand and business KPIs. Marketing activities for both initiatives span strategy development, narrative building, content production, collateral creation, social and paid media planning, as well as agency and internal stakeholder management.
