MORE ABOUT THIS JOB

GLOBAL MARKETS

Our core value is building strong relationships with our institutional clients, which include corporations, financial service providers, and fund managers. This is a dynamic, entrepreneurial team with a passion for the markets, with individuals who thrive in fast-paced, changing environments and are energized by a bustling trading floor.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

What We Do

The team is responsible for managing the execution of securitized derivatives transactions, providing an internal source of subject-matter expertise for securitized derivatives and developing the business. We are also responsible for designing and implementing solutions to meet the needs of internal and external clients, which may focus on technical considerations (where our team may partner with other technical experts in the Global Markets Division or control functions) or infrastructure constraints (where we lead design and partner with other engineers to implement). We are part of a global team, focused on the Americas business.

Your Impact

Join the Securitized Derivatives Structuring & Origination team to manage the execution of securitized derivatives transactions and participate in the development of this business at Goldman Sachs. Enjoy a fast-paced and widely-scope role that works closely with sales, trading, engineering, and control functions aligned to the structured notes business.

The role will offer a unique vantage point from which you will have the opportunity to gain a front-to-back understanding of Goldman Sachs’ structured notes business in the Americas.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will advise sales, trading and clients on Goldman Sachs’ capabilities for issuing structured notes and other securitized derivatives. You will reach out to colleagues across departments to expand those capabilities, including creating new issuing entities and wrappers, gaining internal approval for new payoffs and underliers, navigating our entry into new markets, and adapting our platform in response to regulatory changes. You will also cultivate relationships with our third-party partners, and work with them to issue their structured paper into Goldman Sachs’ client channels; a function that will include establishing documentation and coordinating deal bidding and execution.
