The Marcus by Goldman Sachs marketing team is seeking a consumer-centric, analytically-minded, creative and energetic VP of Marketing for our co-brand credit cards business.  In this role you’ll apply your credit card industry experience and hands-on leadership skills to drive growth and engagement for our business. 

We're looking for an exceptional marketer with a track record of success in co-brand marketing, including: acquisition in all channels (including face to face) and consumer engagement, retention, and loyalty marketing. This leader will also be responsible for building go to market product marketing plans that leverage messaging, media, social and public relations.

This role will be responsible for driving results for the holistic marketing program.

  • Establish and be accountable for program marketing goals. Relevant metrics include customer account volume, LTV, CAC/CPA, budgets, engagement, retention
  • Be the primary point of contact for the co-brand partner to ensure alignment and achievement of shared goals
  • Build and optimize a multi-channel, integrated marketing strategy and program across digital and offline channels to drive towards business objectives/goals
  • Build KPI tracking and reporting at a channel, segment, and business level; identify customer conversion funnel metrics and track customer throughput
  • Create marketing campaign strategies and execution plans that drive business goals
  • Partner closely with Marketing Operations, Creative/Production and Analytics teams and cross functional partners (e.g., Product, Risk, Engineering, Data Servicing, Finance, Legal/Compliance)
  • Write compelling strategy briefs and oversee claims and creative development
  • Influence and drive results through partner and vendor relationships


  • 10+ years of experience in direct marketing, analytical and strategic roles in a B2C Marketing capacity (acquisition and co-brand card marketing experience are musts)
  • Ability to build and lead a world class, cross-discipline marketing team
  • Data-driven marketer with strong analytical skills that can identify trends and provide action-oriented insights
  • Familiarity with core marketing technology, processes and operations
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills and experience executing seamlessly integrated cross-channel marketing programs
  • Ability to work well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communicator
  • Bachelor's Degree required, MBA preferred
  • Automotive industry experience a strong plus
