OUR IMPACT

Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management (PWM) specializes in creating comprehensive wealth management plans and investment strategies for high net worth individuals and families, as well as foundations, endowments and select institutions.

 

The Strategic and Quantitative Asset Allocation team within the Investment Strategy Group is seeking a VP to contribute to the research, design and implementation of systematic strategies across global asset classes.  This is a dynamic role that requires creativity, quantitative rigor and ability to conduct and supervise investment research. Fluent programming skills, impeccable attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are also a must.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • D. degree (U.S. or equivalent) in Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field
  • Fluent programming in Python or a related language
  • 5+ years of related work experience
  • Ability to implement quantitative financial models and techniques (asset pricing, optimization, simulations)
  • Knowledge of global asset classes and investment instruments
  • Excellent communication skills, especially the ability to explain complex technical concepts and quantitative investment management topics in simple terms
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion to engage with clients
  • Attention to detail, patience, and ability to multi-task under pressure
  • Collaborative and team work oriented
  • Independent, logical, and critical thinking, with the willingness to constantly think outside of the box
  • Must obtain FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses within the first 3 months
