Operations is a dynamic, multi-faceted division that partners with all parts of the firm to provide banking, securities, and asset management services to clients around the world. In addition, Operations provides essential risk management and controls to preserve and enhance the firm's assets and its reputation. For every new product launched and every trade executed, it is Operations that develops and manages the processes and controls that enable business flow.
Equities Execution Services (EES) is part of Global Markets Operations (GMO) and is responsible for post trade risk management for cash equity trades executed by Institutional Clients (pension funds, blue chips etc.) and providing best-in-class client service. EES partner with and support the Firm’s high and low touch cash equity Businesses and their associated execution desks which include Goldman Sachs Electronic Trading (GSET), US Shares Trading and Program Trading. In addition, EES are responsible for risk managing all cash equity executions stemming from the Investment Banking Division (IBD) deal flow which include new issues and accelerated book offerings. There is a close working relationship between EES and IBD Operations. The Global Cash Equities business is focused on revenue growth and is actively building out low touch electronic execution capabilities. EES are playing a key role in executing this strategy by developing strategic post trade flows and systems which enable scalable and straight-through-process (STP) operations.
The team is seeking a skilled professional who will provide business insights for data driven decisions. In this role, you will apply your quantitative, problem solving and client service skills to support the various business units and clients. You will also play a key role in suggesting and implementing process improvements for the team to mitigate risks and enhance the overall client experience.
