Extended Managing Director with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, NY.


Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)


Duties: Extended Managing Director with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, NY. Responsible for distribution of securitized products to the Firm’s global investor base. Work as part of the Structured Products Syndicate team, responsible for a variety of fixed income products, including Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs), Transportation Finance, Insurance and Autos. Manage the distribution of products originated by Goldman Sachs to institutional investors on a global basis. Work with Goldman Sachs origination and banking teams to optimize structures and pricing for our issuers and leverage the sales forces in the Americas, Europe and Asia to get best execution in the capital markets. Maintain active dialogue with investors on current and future transactions as well as the current state-of-the market. Proactively source and pitch new business alongside banking.


Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Economics, Business Administration, Finance or a related field. Ten (10) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include seven (7) years of experience with: Relative value opportunities within structured products landscape; Structural features of structured products offerings; Interacting with structured products investors globally. Interaction should include informal written/verbal communications and formal presentations; Assessing/evaluating investor objectives and constraints within structured products landscape; Interacting with internal sales teams regarding complex/non-vanilla structured finance deals; Structured debt, including experience with syndication and CLOs; Interacting with banking issuers; and Developing and nurturing relationships with banking issuers and external investors. Prior experience must also include four (4) years of experience with:  Appreciating regulatory and jurisdictional nuances globally, including risk retention. Must have a successful track record originating complex structured finance products and working with internal sales teams to distribute products to external investors. License Required: Series 7, 63, and 79. Travel required approximately 20% of the time. All travel expenses covered by Goldman Sachs.
