We are seeking a professional who can work with our clients to review and refresh their AML/KYC information on file. This position offers the opportunity to mitigate the risks at the firm while collaborating with colleagues across the Business, Operations and Compliance divisions.

As a member of the CIP Rolling Review team, the individual will specialize in the review of AML/KYC information on file for existing clients. The individual will work directly with our clients, sales and operational partners in a fast paced environment with precision and accuracy. The ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and communicate to all levels of the organization, including sales, legal and compliance, is critical. RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

The Client Identification Program – Rolling Review team at Goldman Sachs maintains a responsibility with an ever increasing level of attention and impact to our Consumer and Wealth Management business.  You will obtain a comprehensive knowledge of our business and the risks that it faces.  This Anti-Money Laundering function forms an integral part of our business by working to identify solutions that balance the business, client and regulatory needs.
 
 
• Manage a team of CIP associates, analysts and process specialists; set goals and expectations for their performance.
• Displaying a strong ability to influence the CWM business by serving as a liaison between Anti-Money Laundering Compliance and Sales teams.
• Produce and deliver metrics and management reports to senior leadership within the Division, and as needed in Compliance and Engineering.
• Lead and/or participate in strategic initiatives to uplift our platforms and processes, and in business planning sessions to forecast resourcing needs for the team or business unit.
• Demonstrate the ability to constantly apply sound business judgment in order to identify unusual or suspicious documentation or activity.  
• Develop a profound understanding of Client Identification Program (CIP) policies involving country specific requirements and translate this knowledge to day-to-day responsibilities.
• Satisfy the responsibility for completing detailed reviews of documentation for new and existing clients, including legal agreements and organizational documents.
• Engage in opportunities to review processes, analyze information, make decisions and recommendations and implement and monitor procedures.
• Becoming commercially aware and understand the nature of the business you are involved in while at the same time ensuring all Goldman Sachs CIP standards are constantly being met.
