PFM

Goldman Sachs Personal Financial Management (GS PFM) specializes in creating personalized wealth management plans for affluent individuals and families. We give clients clarity, confidence and control over their financial decisions. Our dedicated team of advisors across approximately 100 offices throughout the U.S., develops and implements personalized plans tailored to each client's values and life goals. Our advisors offer an investment platform inclusive of products and services offered by Goldman Sachs and other third parties, including private banking and lending offerings. RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Principal Responsibilities and Objectives/Job Descriptions

  • Key liaison between the PFMG Investment business and compliance, legal and audit teams on the completion of Sarbanes Oxley, internal/external audits, and other risk/control related functions
  • Support the business in identifying risks, enhancing mitigating controls and adherence to firm-wide and department specific policies
  • Implementation and maintenance of key risk reporting for management team
  • Provide guidance and advice from a risk and control perspective to ensure risks arising from new products and/or business, migrations, etc. are properly addressed
  • Fulfill project manager function on projects of varying scale by creating and reviewing project schedules with the project team and key stakeholders and facilitating the execution of the project according to the project plan.
  • Create a detailed project schedule identifying:
    • Major activities and deliverables
    • Detailed activities sequence
    • Deliverable ownership
  • Ensure all project information is appropriately documented and memorialized
  • Provide both verbal and written updates to stakeholders on project progress, project risks and open issues
  • Create and review project schedules with the project team and key stakeholders
  • Facilitate the execution of the project according to the project plan
  • Ensure all project information is appropriately documented and memorialized

  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Experience presenting to senior and executive leadership
  • Excellent team interaction and problem solving skills
  • Effective at organizing and facilitating meetings
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong control mindset with a passion for risk management
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to understand complex workflows, and excellent attention to detail
  • Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of financial operations and trading is preferred
