The Executive Office plays an integral role in setting and advancing Goldman Sachs’ strategy and in supporting and enhancing the firm’s distinctive culture. Brand & Content Strategy Group

The Brand and Content Strategy team is charged with representing Goldman Sachs to the public. We do this through:

  • Enhancing reputation and fostering transparency — providing a greater understanding of what Goldman Sachs does and sharing insights and ideas about key themes affecting the global economy.
  • Insulating against and mitigating negativity — adding our own voice to the conversation during times of increased vulnerability and heightened public discourse stemming from negative media activity.
  • Attracting top talent — positioning the firm as an employer of choice through narratives that explain our mission, our culture and our contributions to societies.
  • Bolstering commercial receptivity — building favorability that results in a foundation for commercial receptivity with the public.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the production of videos, podcasts, infographics and articles featuring GS insights on markets, industries and the global economy.
  • Pitch story ideas across our public-facing channels.
  • Fact check and copy edit content before internal and external distribution.
  • Search media libraries for visual and audio assets.
  • Draft editorial and social copy.
  • Coordinate flow of media assets and approvals before publication.
  • Manage schedules and bookings of shows, hosts and guests.
  • Prepare decks and presentation material on content strategy.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three to five years of experience in journalism or communications.
  • Strong writing skills, both specific to markets and finance as well as general editorial needs.
  • Experience optimizing content for Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook.
  • Experience with brand marketing teams and an understanding of messaging, campaign development, paid/owned distribution, and marketing analytics.
  • Strong project manager who is highly organized with excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; comfort and ability to present complex material.
  • Collaborative work approach and ability to work well across a dynamic global team.
