Are you looking to apply your analytical and creative skills to help our customers advance their financial health? Marcus by Goldman Sachs is looking for a Product Manager to join the growing Marcus Insights Product team, focused on supporting a suite of features and functionality that leverages data to help customers with their financial decision-making. 

 

You will brainstorm and coordinate with a cross-functional team, including designers, data scientists, engineers and other product managers, to build the Insights roadmap. You will own and execute the Data Science and back-end engineering work that will power the new features we build and help customers optimize their finances You will ensure these features are measurable and deliver significant value to our customers.

You are comfortable working with data, customer-focused and detail-oriented. You have experience writing product specifications, managing project execution, working with agile teams and driving decision-making across cross-functional groups. You are a creative thinker, who likes to focus on how data can bring delightful experiences to life for our customers.

 

In this role, you will join a team committed to superior customer experience, operating at a fast pace to extend and deepen our customer’s relationship with Marcus. 

 

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

  • Support the Data Science and Insights Services squads from concept to execution
  • Work with a cross-functional team including Design, Engineering and Data Science to concept and design differentiated experiences leveraging Marcus and linked account data
  • Work with quality management to define and execute a validation framework
  • Write user stories and acceptance criteria and groom stories
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative customer feedback to inform product strategy and pipeline development
  • Collaborate with other product managers to ensure cohesiveness of the overall customer experience
  • Own and drive a product roadmap that meets business goals, achieve key performance indicators and provide a world-class customer experience

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years of product experience with a desire to work in a fast-paced, agile product development environment
  • Proven analytical skills and problem solving ability paired with meticulous attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and proactive team player who takes ownership of and accountability for projects
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to effectively manage competing priorities
  • Strong relationship-building skills with an ability to communicate complex issues to a wide array of internal stakeholders
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA, Confluence, SQL and Tableau (or like tools)
  • Bachelors/Undergraduate Degree

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with consumer products/services, with emphasis on financial products requiring compliance review
  • Experience building and using technical products and tools (e.g. APIs, Postman)
