The X-Store and Position Engineering teams, sitting within Global Markets Engineering, play a crucial role in facilitating many post-execution functions including: trade confirmation, clearing, settlements, valuations and regulatory reporting. Their success contributes directly to the efficient functioning of the firm's Trading and Sales operations on a day-to-day basis.
The X-Store Engineering team builds and maintains a model driven, highly scalable, high performance, data storage and event processing framework, providing low latency access for online processing and leveraging big data technologies for analytics.
The Position Engineering team builds and maintains a number of critical systems within firm’s front-to-back trade flows, including the data processing pipeline that computes the firms daily positions and valuations for PNL, accounting and reporting purposes globally.
Both teams are passionate about solving complex technical problems, delivering innovative, resilient and performant systems and employ an Agile (Scrum) methodology with iterative feedback loops with their clients and continual improvement of the team’s processes.
We are looking for a talented, experienced engineer with experience managing small or medium-sized teams and engaging with stakeholders to deliver commercial solutions. You will be expected to co-manage a growing, local team and contribute to its formation as it starts to develop and support the X-Store platform in addition to its current responsibilities within Position Engineering.
