IBD Strats are involved in marketing, structuring, pricing, and executing transactions for large corporations and institutions in the capital markets and M&A. The IBD Analytics team is looking for an individual to work on business analytics projects for the Financing Group within the Investment Banking Division. The role will be based in Dallas, and will involve collaborating with various capital markets teams to develop and maintain databases and Tableau dashboards used to measure market and franchise performance across various products and regions.
The role requires experience with SQL databases, including query structuring, familiarity with ETL processes, and optimizing tables and views for performance, and Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server, including building complex dashboards, using Level of Detail expressions, and using parameter controls. In addition, a strong candidate will have an interest in financial markets, an ability to collaborate and communicate with people across a spectrum of technical backgrounds, and a good sense for how to visualize data.
A successful candidate will be organized, sweat the details, and be agile to respond to the needs of a fast moving business.
