The role is part of the Exchange-Traded Funds (ETF) Business within the Americas Client Business. At $23bn+ in AUM, GSAM’s ETF business is amongst the fastest growing platforms in the ETF industry, having launched the business in 2015. The team covers all aspects of the ETF value chain, from product development to client service / analysis to capital markets and trading. The team works closely with numerous other businesses within CIMD and the Federation globally to develop products and to coordinate client interactions.


We are looking for an Analyst to join the team.



  • Work on multiple projects across team verticals including market research, marketing materials, internal collateral, sales dashboards / analyses, and capital markets
  • Collaborate with multiple teams across CIMD to drive ETF opportunities and client strategy
  • Support the team’s sales specialists through planning and executing client engagement events, creating and performing custom analyses for clients, and analyzing sales activity and opportunities
  • Leverage product and client knowledge for ETF product development and strategy
  • Prepare materials for strategic client engagement meetings
  • Participate and contribute to internal strategy meetings



  • 1-3 years of relevant experience: Interest/Experience in the Asset Management business and the ETF industry preferred
  • An entrepreneurial work ethic: comfort in assuming varied responsibilities and going above and beyond to make your work more commercially relevant
  • Strong interpersonal skills: ability to build the trust and confidence of colleagues and clients, strengthen relationships through ongoing dialog and interactions, and collaborate well with others internally to meet client needs
  • Project management skills; highly organized; attention to detail and excellent follow-through
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong problem solving skills and abilities, able to craft unique solutions with limited guidance
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment and multi-task appropriately
  • Self-motivated and driven, someone looking for a steep growth curve
  • Ability to work at varying speeds and under timeframe pressure, while maintaining extremely high standards
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, with strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Appetite to provide support and get involved in all aspects of the diverse role of the team
  • University graduate or equivalent
