Goldman Sachs Personal Financial Management (GS PFM) specializes in creating personalized wealth management plans for affluent individuals and families. We give clients clarity, confidence and control over their financial decisions. Our dedicated team of advisors across approximately 100 offices throughout the U.S., develops and implements personalized plans tailored to each client's values and life goals. Our advisors offer an investment platform inclusive of products and services offered by Goldman Sachs and other third parties, including private banking and lending offerings. We are seeking an analyst/associate as part of the Goldman Sachs Personal Financial Management  Solutions (PFMS) team, who will be responsible for supporting Goldman Sachs Personal Financial Management (PFM) and Ayco advisors and clients by providing technical support and information across various financial planning services including tax and estate planning, trust services, and charitable giving. The role will also support the assessment and delivery of various software tools and other partnerships for our advisors and end clients.


PFM is  Goldman Sachs’ advisor channel, focused on High Net Worth (HNW) clients. Our mission is to assist each one of our unique clients to meet their financial objectives to help them live the life they want.  The PFM HNW clients generally have a net worth within $1-10M. Critical to the success of PFM is our ability to leverage a team of talented professionals to provide the PFM advisors the tools and resources they need to help their clients achieve their financial goals.

This role resides in the PFM Solutions
Team within PFM. The team is responsible for facilitating platform adoption through product development, evaluation, technical support, and ultimately the delivery of financial planning context and insights to the PFM advisors, Ayco Wellness Coaches and their clients.

As a member of the PFM Solutions team you will engage with key stakeholders across business, financial advisor, product, engineering, compliance(??) and marketing teams to develop, prioritize, amplify and drive adoption of the PFM Solutions platform amongst PFM advisors.


  • Create and automate reports with complex data provided by multiple third parties
  • Respond to inquiries from external and internal partners
  • Manage projects to evaluate and onboard external partners with stakeholders across multiple departments
  • Make data-based decisions and communicate them clearly and rationally


  • Work with a cross-functional team to define and design differentiated products and experiences in personal finance
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative customer feedback to inform product strategy and pipeline development
  • Research industry trends and features to develop and pitch recommendations for meaningful advice products



  • Bachelors/Undergraduate Degree
  • Interest in financial planning and pursuit of a CFP® certification
  • Proven analytical skills and problem solving ability paired with meticulous attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and proactive team player who takes ownership of, and accountability for, projects
  • Excellent time management and strong organizational skills with an ability to effectively manage competing priorities
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Ability to communicate complex issues to a wide array of internal stakeholders
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Ability to create engaging PowerPoint presentations
